Aims:
To give the student the experience in sourcing and working with scientific literature related to a topic of chemical research and the opportunity to develop a number of important skills concerning the dissemination of complex ideas to a wider scientific audience.
Objectives:
On successful completion of the module the student will have developed skills in the following areas:
- Search the chemical and related literature
2. Conduct a literature review
3. Critically evaluate scientific articles
4. Communicate science (written and orally) to a wider scientific audience
5. Respond to reviewers’ feedback on a scientific review article
